• Hi, no your articles and everything have been great :) Sorry about not replying before- I haven't had much time to do much or reply to things lately, but I should be back to normal now. However, would you mind adding infoboxes to new pages that you create? When you click "new article", you should get three boxes above your edit section coming up for "set" "minifigure" and "theme". If you click one of them, the appropriate infoboxes should come up for you to fill out. Also, categorizing articles really help out too- it's just that these things are easier to do when the page is created, otherwise someone else has to go and copy the template code manually to add the infoboxes and categorize the articles.   • Hi, I don't know if you've figured it out yet, but to add images to infoboxes, you just type in the name of the file, followed by the extension like "732x-1.jpg", which is a bit different to adding normal images. And don't worry about categories- if they're redlinks they can always be fixed up. Nope

I'm not mad. I feel good helping other people out. There is only 1 thing that bugs me here. I'm the only user (apart from User:Wikia) to reach over 1000 edits and not be an admin or have rollback. I have been waiting for a nominee on Brickipedia:Requests for Permissions, but it hasn't come up. I'd nominate somebody myself, but there is no one to do so to. But apart from that, I have never been mad at anybody here.

• Hi, thanks for your edits. Just for your information, you don't have to build infoboxes for set articles on your own by using {{infobox}}. We already have a specific template for this purpose ({{Set}}). You can automatically insert it when you create a new article by pressing the "set" button next to "Preloadable topic outlines:".

• Hi, thanks for reverting this, however, it looks like we may be stuck with this for a few hours- I've tried multiple things to make this get updated instantly, but they aren't working- sometime changing images/templates can take a while for Wikia's servers to update. Changing the order of entries in {{Set}}

Why are you changing the order of the entries in the Set template in 6629 Ambulance? Or was this unintentional? Have you already considered disabling the Rich Text Editor? --LegOtaku (talk) 14:10, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

• Hey, well, I would probably have to agree with Nighthawk - it should be safe to assume that all criminals are meant to be part of the gang, but this does confirm it. The reason is because the other criminals have clothes on and Squidman and Frenzy don't, that's why they don't have the logo. I think it would be fine to post a note about that on the Space Police wiki if you want. :)

  • It may be possible that there aren't any item numbers at all- there are a few promo sets out there without numbers. I've found the names of three of them here- Rally Fire, Curve Chaser and Sport Racer, but I don't know about the rest. Also (this is unrelated) I was wondering- are you manually signing your signature?   • Your page has now been protected :) I'm thinking the user has a dynamic ip, meaning that they can change their address, so if they get blocked, all they have to do is change their address to be unblocked. Article sections

Actually, articles should start with a lead section (6940 Alien Moon Stalker is a Classic Space set. It contains...) This lead section doesn't need a header. After this there is usually the description, which *describes* the set in greater detail. So don't call this section "Notes", when it's actually a description. There are also sets that don't have descriptions (since there is nothing to describe, due to their small size), but they have a few annotations which are in the Notes section. --LegOtaku (talk • contr) 19:34, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

• Hi, if you want to make a userbox just for your own userpage, you can use {{userbox}} (there should be some help on how to make one there, or if there isn't see Wookieepedia's userbox page). But, since there's been a bit of a growing interest in userboxes lately, I'll soon start up a userbox proposals page similar to Wookieepedia's one before it was retired, where users can create then nominate userboxes which can have their own category and be easily used by other users if it's voted through. I don't have a lot of time right now, but hopefully I'll be able to set this up in the next couple of days, and I'll let you know when it's set up. • Hey, well done with the userbox creating :) Sorry, but I probably didn't explain this right before- the userbox proposals page will be for (I should have this up and running in about 3 hours) nominating userboxes such as the ones that you've made by putting the code on the propsals page. If it is voted through, then it is made into a template such as the templates you've created (like {{Lucasfilm}}, {{Recentchanges}} etc) for all users to put on their userpage if they want to. So really at the moment the userbox code should be on your userpage as a custom userbox, then if it goes through, it can be replaced with the template of the corresponding name. Userboxes

• Hi, just wanted to let you know that {{user gamer}} and {{user recentchanges}} have been successfully nominated and are now official templates :) But with the Lucasfilm template, I was just wondering about the wording- it sounds like Lucasfilm is the only party in the agreement, but there are two parties involved. The LEGO Group can just as easily end the contract as Lucasfilm can. I was wondering what you'd think if the wording was changed to something like "This user thinks that the Star Wars LEGO contract between Lucasfilm and The LEGO Group shouldn't end in 2011"? Or something along those lines- if you have a better idea, then feel free to put it to whatever you want. I know this is technically voted through and should be an official userbox, and if you don't want the wording changed, then just say so since I can't really do anything since the vote's through, and I'm ok with it if you don't want to, but it just sounds a bit misleading to me how it appears that Lucasfilm holds all the power in the contract.     • Thanks for changing the userbox :) Also, sorry to do this to you, but if there's a redlinked category at the bottom of your userpage when you see this, you may want to click edit on your userpage, then just click save (without making any changes). I've changed the category in the userbox to reflect what the userbox now says, and it hasn't been updated on your page. It sometimes takes a few days for the category to be updated otherwise.     • Hi, not meaning to interfere or anything, but I just saw this when was going through the recent changes. To get the sig functioning, you probably need to go to "my preferences", then in the "user profile" tab under the "signature" field, put {{SUBST:User:Nerfbasterpro/sig}}. Just a warning that doing this will be wikia-wide, so when signing on a wiki, it will look for a page on that wiki called "User:Nerfbasterpro/sig". Re: Astronaut problem

• Hey, sorry to tell you, but I have no idea what's going on. The only thing I can think of that is causing this would be the Rich Text Editor. I recently requested for it to be disabled for the whole wiki due to causing a lot of problems (there's a discussion about it on LegOtaku's and my talk page). Some users have said on other wikis that when an individual page has had the RTE disabled, that they can edit the page but not save it, much like your case. However, I haven't heard back from Wikia, so I'm not sure if it has been turned off- the only thing I can suggest is try temporarily turning off the RTE by clicking Special:Preferences, then click editing, then untick "Enable Rich Text Editing", and see if you can make an edit like this. If you still can't edit the page, let me know and I'll see what I can do. It seems strange that it's only for some pages though :S NightblazeSaber 23:12, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

• Hey, actually we do have a "Poll of the Month" thing on the Community Portal, and there suggestions to update the poll so I started a forum about it a few months ago, but there were never any replies. Edits

• Hi, just wanted to let you know that for most Star Wars sets, for the subthemes we generally leave off the "Star Wars" bit of the subtheme so it doesn't say Star Wars twice, this is the same for Harry Potter, Indiana Jones etc. This is because we know for example that Classic is referring to Classic Star Wars because it's mentioned as a subtheme of Star Wars. Also with the 7753 Pirate Tank, I noticed you added Category:7000 sets- for the 7000's since we have so many articles in the 7000's, we split the category up into 100's not 1000's for ease of viewing. This is only for the 7's so far, but it may be changed later if we get more articles starting with other item numbers. Anyway let me know if you feel that the Star Wars should be put in the subtheme section to, or if you want feel free to bring it up in a forum, it's not a set rule, but it's generally what's been done and it looks inconsistent if we do it two ways :) NightblazeSaber 12:27, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

Maybe Wikia won't block us. I doubt they will, but then again, they might. This is all a misunderstanding. But I think I found a loop-hole. According to Wikia, "Anyone can edit", so that means I, 9legoboy9, Coupon11, and Nerfproblaster can edit. If they say you have to be over 13, that means they are false advertising, which is illegal. FA Reviewers Board

• Hi, I was wondering if you would be interested in being on a board for reviewing featured article nominations. This would basically just involve checking that FA nominations meet the FA criteria which were voted on. If you do want to be on this board, you will be expected to review most of the nominations which are put up. I'm not completely sure if you'll get in straight away without a vote, but one option we're considering is letting all users who have rollback priveleges or higher to gain automatic entry if they want it- there's no pressure if you don't want to do this. Before you purchase that, here is some advice. It may be a cool blaster, but the darts get stuck in the firing process. It also chews up the darts. My friend got this gun for Christmas and he returned it the next day. I saw him fire it and I even fired it myself. The handle to fire it manually falls off and it takes about 5 D batteries, which cost about $10 a pack. I would advise you not to buy this, unless you want to waste your darts, money, and time. Design ID

The "Design ID" is an identification number for LEGO bricks. But it only denotes the shape, while "Element ID" does also define the color of a piece, (design-id 4032 is just a round 2x2 plate; element-id 403224 is part 4032 in yellow, element-id 403226 is part 4032 in black etc.)

Woops, fixed it. The only guns I own are the Maverick, Night Finder, Raider, and the small pocket gun that you pump. (I can't spell right today. The part of my backyard that acutally has grass is like 5 feet wide. After that, there is a steep slope that has several small pine trees. Past that, there is a small creek and marsh. I staged a Nerf War there, but it didn't go so well. I had a good ammount of rules which were easy to follow. Apparently, people didn't want any rules. So everything got out of hand, we lost darts, and everyone went home annoyed that they wasted their whole night.
